To: Table Mountain Trailers Group <tmtrailers@googlegroups.com>

Hello Trailers!

This week we'll take a climb up Cecilia Ridge and check the water levels in the dams.

Brief Description of Route
We'll take the steps up from the carpark and keep following the trail up until we reach the upper contour path. Then we continue up Rooikat Ravine, passing the waterfall, until we reach the bottom of Cecilia Ridge. We turn up the ridge and pop out close to De Villiers Dam/the Overseers cottage. We'll then take the Ash Valley path to the dams, and head back down the road, zigzagging our way down, either via the jeep track almost to the Nek, where we'll dip into the cork forest alongside Rhodes Drive and back to the cars. Alternatively, we can dip into the trees and wind our way down the 'shortcut' path.
The longer faster group may extend the route by taking a trip all the way around the dams.

Rendezvous and Start Time

Cecilia Parking Area just off Rhodes Avenue at the top of Hohenort Avenue, 6:20 ready to start at 6:30am.

Terrain and Distance
