Option 2, medium distance group will start at 6:30am at the end of Theresa Avenue, the start of the missing link trail. Lorraine will lead this group (thank you).

The walking group will be confirmed on Friday.

Routes

The longer distance group will head up the jeep track heading towards Kloof Nek, onto the Pipe Track, turning right to go up Diagonal, left past the MCSA hut, over the Hely Hutchinson dam wall, over the Woodhead dam wall, left onto the Apostles path, down Corridor Ravine and back to the start. ±12Km with one big climb.

The medium-distance group will head out along the missing link trail ±10Km's loop.

Terrain and Distance

The longer route is ±12km with about 900m ascent and the medium route ±-10Km with about 300m ascent, both routes have many variations to choose from on the day.

The terrain is a mixture of a single rocky track and a flowing Jeep track.

What to bring

Water, whistle, warm/waterproof top depending on weather plus your space blanket and ICE information.

Important:

This is a pack run with regular regroups. We usually split into two or three pace groups. Group leaders will be indicated on the day. Leaders of each group will ensure that no one is left behind. Please keep the groups together and ensure that no one is left on their own. Remember to look behind you at every turn in the route to ensure the people behind you see which way you are going.

Dogs

Please note that K-Way VOB club rules do not permit dogs on our runs.
