FEEDBACK: TABLE MOUNTAIN TRAILERS -  Sat 07th November 2015 - Silvermine North-West

Feedback from Richard:

A medium-sized group turned up for the first run from the Kalk Bay station parking for many months, - a legacy of the fire in January.

The start was slightly delayed because of the late arrival of the run leader, Richard, who had to run to the start from Fish Hoek, because of an accident on Main road – forcing the road to be closed. All 3 groups started up a much changed Echo valley and Spes Bona valley and thereafter, through the Spes Bona forest (which was mercifully preserved from the fire. The route was tough to start with, then becoming undulating, and finally ending with a very fast downhill run back to the parking.

All-in-all a good outing, - and a welcome return to a very pleasant area of the Table Mountain national park.
