Route
Gentle uphill warmup along the Riverwalk. Then across the MTB carpark to
head up the ridge towards Elephants Eye. Heading up towards Blackburn, we take a
left up to the Skywalk / Panorama route. After stopping at the view point overlooking
Noordhoek and Hout Bay, we connect back with the jeep track
for a short distance and then follow the single track down towards the Dam
and back down the Riverwalk or MTB path to the carpark.
Terrain and Distance
Mostly single track with a few short sections of jeep track inbetween.
This route includes a few steep climbs so there'll be a good combination
of running and hiking. Distance about 13kms, taking about 2-2h30.
The recovery and slow groups can turn back at Elephants Eye for a shorter
distance of about 9/10km.
