FEEDBACK: TABLE MOUNTAIN TRAILERS 9 Jan 2016: CONSTANTIA NEK to FOOT OF WINDOW GORGE

Happy 2016 everyone!

We had a very good turnout for our first run of the year, 36 in total with six newbies and we welcomed back two who have been out of action for some time- Lanesse Collins and Sam Brinkman, in addition Mark Garbers from UK joined his parents Neil and Felicity.

Seems all went well with the three groups as no reports of misadventures.   The eight in the Slow group made good time through to Kirstenbosch so we extended our route through to the foot of Nursery ravine where we saw the Main Group gallop past in fine style.

Recovery group took a turn to early, but still managed to do the intended route a little differently.  They covered approximately 8kms. The slow group did approximately 9.3kms. The main group finished at lightening speed, no one actually knows how far they ran! It should have been approximately 11km.
All in all it was a good start to the trail running New Year! See some photos below of the day.
