A group of determined runners set off in wet and chilly conditions. However, fortune favoured the brave as the drizzle soon stopped after the start.
The fast group in their exuberance overshot a turn and prematurely ended up in Glencairn.
Soon we were all on Elsies Peak Traverse enjoying the unsurpassed seascapes whilst circumnavigating the front of Elsies Peak, . We then ascended Elsies Peak for panoramic views over False Bay.
A sandy single track took us to Brakkloofrand, offering distant views of Noordhoek Beach and valley.
The fast group 10,7km and the medium and slow groups 9,3km.
A thank you to Theo Smith whose map-reading and path-finding kept us on the right track.
