Subject: TABLE MOUNTAIN TRAILERS - SATURDAY 10TH FEBRUARY 2024 - MYBURGH'S RAVINE WATERFALL AND LLANDUDNO RAVINE
Good Monday Trailers!
This week's route will be a new one for us - at least I can't see any record of having done it before on our blog!
We'll meet at the start of the trail near Suikerbossie Restaurant and take the flat trail through to Myburgh's Ravine Waterfall, where the relaxed group will split off and take the path until they reach Orange Kloof fence then turn around, and the stronger group will head up the Ravine to visit Judas Peak and return down Llandudno Ravine.
It'll be a shortish run for the relaxed group: about 8kms in total, but a lovely one nonetheless. Also great for the walkers – to be confirmed on Friday. The longer group will of course enjoy the 650m elevation, and the stunning views from the top.
DIRECTIONS:
Type Suikerbossie Restaurant into your GPS. Please do not park in the restaurant's parking lot though. There is ample parking in the designated parking area in front of the Ruyteplaats security gates.
TIME:
Let's meet at 6.00am for a 6:10 start again as it is still very hot.
BRING:
Loads of water – there probably won't be much if any on the mountain at this time of year.
Something warm – the weather can change quickly over the mountain
ICE information of some sort.
Whistle, first aid, snacks, etc per normal trail running protocols.
Money for brekkie at Suikerbossie afterwards, if you like.
