Rendezvous and start time
Starting at 6:30 am from the Toad on the Road in Lakeside.Route
We'll tackle the ascent above Boyes Drive, continuing across the mountaintop and descending into Noordhoek to end (or not!) at The Toad in the Village.For those with energy to burn, you can continue along the 26km route which takes in some of the Noordhoek Superbowl route.

Terrain and Distance
A steep ascent on single track followed by beautiful flowing single track, jeep track and a bit of tar.The weather looks cool and windless but it'll be dark at the start so please bring a headlamp.
Water, whistle, warm/windproof top, rain jacket - weather dependent, space blanket, ICE ID - either on your phone, bracelet/tag, or card in your backpack. Please make sure that you are carrying the right equipment, enough food and water.
If you are starting at Silvermine Gate 1:
Please note there is an entrance fee of R44 for SA Citizens (cash only and remember to bring your ID), unless you have Wild Card or Green Card.*
Also please note that there is no cell phone signal at Silvermine so please don't hope that we will get your "running late" message and wait for you if you are late. You’ll have to catch up! Sorry!
Important:
Please remember to look behind you at every turn in the route to make sure the people behind you see which way you are going.
Please keep together and ensure that no-one is left on their own.
